Privacy policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
Short version: AlgoRung has no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Your revision log is stored in your own browser.
What we store, and where
In your browser
When you sign in, the name and email you enter, your solves, revision dates, times, attempts, mistakes and notes are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to our servers. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them. Your theme and walkthrough settings (such as narration language) are stored the same way.
On our servers
We do not run a database of users today. If we add accounts that sync your log across devices, we will update this page before that launches and explain what is stored and how to delete it.
Services we use
- Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details to serve pages and may keep short-lived logs for security and reliability.
- Cloudflare serves the narration audio (from media.algorung.com), manages our domain and forwards email sent to hello@algorung.com. It processes request data in the same way.
- YouTube hosts our videos. Videos embedded on problem pages load only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once playing, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain; we don't load third-party trackers, ad networks or analytics scripts.
If you write to hello@algorung.com, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply. We don't add you to a mailing list.
Children
AlgoRung is meant for students and professionals preparing for technical interviews. It is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
- You can use every public page without signing in.
- You can delete everything AlgoRung stored about you by signing out and clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
- For any privacy question or request, email hello@algorung.com.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes, such as adding accounts stored on a server, will be announced on the site before they take effect.
